The Hungry Hound is the lifelong dream of owner Penny Milligan, pet lover extraordinaire. Because of her first two Labradors, Max and Dallas, Penny decided to fetch her dream and open a store for dogs in 2003. The Hungry Hound is dedicated to the health and truth of our furry family members. While Max and Dallas are no longer with us, Penny continues to research healthy alternatives for her customers and for Talulah, the rescue dog, who now rules the roost and is always at the store, working hard, greeting customers and continues to juggle her many boyfriends that frequent the store. Although, Boomer is the true love of her life!!

Loren Fisher, who runs the Hungry Hound photo studio, has been a professional photographer for 29 years and is Photo Editor of the Courier News and also runs Elf Multimedia. Loren’s Bernese Mountain Dog, Boomer, is a frequent visitor to the store and his portrait graces the front window.
